How do I know you'll shred my stuff?
Central Texas Secure Shredding is a professional document destruction company that puts a premium on security and job performance. We shred over 30,000 pounds of paper every month. Not shredding your material would create LEGAL, ETHICAL, and FINANCIAL problems that are not worth the risk of taking short cuts and not doing our job. Our owner, Wade A. Patton, personally certifies the destruction of your material and will not accept less than 100% security and completion of the destruction process.
What do you do with the shredded material?
We recycle ALL of the material we shred. Our recycling program includes paper, magnetic media, x-rays, and cardboard.
Do you conduct background checks of your employees?
Yes, extensive background checks are conducted on our employees. Our employees sign a Confidentiality Agreement prior to employment. This agreement clearly states the termination and legal consequences of violating the terms of the agreement.
Can I bring material to you?
Yes, Central Texas Secure Shredding offers our customers the opportunity to bring their material to our plant and witness the destruction. Drop-off service is done by appointment, so call today to set up an appointment.
How long will it take to destroy my material?
Our state of the art equipment allows us to destroy 3,000lbs of paper per hour. Most walk-in customers have their material destroyed in 5 minutes.
Do I need to remove Staples, Paper Clips, or Folders with brads?
No. Our high power shredding system is capable of destroying staples, paper clips, or folders with brads. There is no need to spend your time removing these items prior to shredding.
How do you recycle the shredded paper?
When the shredded paper exits the shredder it is conveyed to a baling system that compresses the paper into 1150-1300 pound bales that are shipped to a paper mill for recycling.
Can you shred disk, tapes, and other types of media?
